Hello, I’m so glad you’re here! I'm passionate about guiding individuals on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. As an art therapist, I believe in the transformative power of creativity to help people of any age express themselves and navigate life's complexities. Alongside art therapy, I also offer traditional talk therapy, providing a holistic approach to mental and emotional well-being that can be best catered to your specific therapeutic needs. In my practice, I prioritize a person-centered, existential, and strengths-based approach, recognizing that each person is the expert of their own experiences. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, understanding that therapy knows no age limit. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns at their own pace. As a LAPC and ATR-P I am currently under the supervision and direction of Nancy Morales, LPC, ATR-BC, CPCS and AICC Clinical Director, Christi Bartolomucci, PhD, LPC, CPCS. I am passionate about helping young adults process their identity and emotions during life transitions and as they come into who they are. Clients leaving high school, graduating college, entering marriage or their first jobs often find that they are reevaluating what their values are and how their early childhood experiences have affected them. I enjoy working with clients as they walk through these parts of their story and come to understand themselves better.

I belong to a well established practice in the local area with 10 fully licensed clinicians. All major insurances are accepted and there is a negotiable sliding scale for self pay clients. Our office is located right next to Perimeter Mall off of Ashford-Dunwoody Road. I myself have several years of experience working with dual diagnosis clients in methadone clinics and with a wide variety of clients in private practices. I have also worked as an Adjunct Professor and have much experience working with college age clients. I was the friendly, approachable assistant type of professor whom everyone came to with their problems. I have been an overseas student and know first hand how difficult various challenges for college age people can be. At times I have been too shy to go to the cafeteria. At other times I have abused drugs. I have had friends who were sexually abused on campus. In sum, just about everything that can go wrong in school I have experienced. In addition to his personal experience, I have professional expertise with addiction, sexual abuse, identity issues, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. If you are looking for a compassionate, professional clinician with personal experience of your own issues, please give me a call.

I offer in-person sessions Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays 12pm to 6pm. I offer online virtual sessions Monday through Friday 12pm to 6pm. I have worked with a wide range of diverse clients. My prior experiences in both a community clinic setting as well as a university setting has put me in contact with a variety of client issues. Many of my previous clients have sought help for depression, anxiety, family/relationship conflict, substance use, adjusting to difficult life transitions, exploring and redefining personal identities, and sometimes simply learning more about who they are and who they want to be. Here is a snapshot of my specialty areas: Depression Anxiety/Panic Attacks Identity exploration LGBTQ+ Life transitions Chronic Disability/ Invisible Illness Alternative spirituality Existential questions Before studying and graduating with a master of science degree in clinical mental health counseling, I studied and taught French and Francophone language, literature, and culture. Having studied in Quebec, Canada and having taught English in France reinforced my devotion for expanding perspectives and developing insight. I eventually decided to apply my passion for introspection and self-exploration to help those who need a guiding hand through life's trials and travails. Upon returning to the US, I enrolled in the University of North Georgia's counseling program. I interned in a community counseling setting in North Georgia as well as in a college counseling setting at Kennesaw State University. These experiences continued to inspire me to help those in most need of sensitive care, such as the LGBTQ+ community. Insight and introspection can be lifesavers when we feel as though we’ve lost our way. Learning new ways of handling and adapting to all of life’s changes can be revitalizing. We can grow through obtaining new perspective. I would be excited to be there with you on your path as a co-journeyer and as a provider of objective, researched-based counseling.
