Terri Duda, LMSW, LLC
Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Clinical Social Work/Therapists
- Licensed Mental Health Counselors
I employ a variety of approaches in my work including Dialetical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I have particular expertise in helping trauma survivors. I help people heal from complex trauma by providing a safe, caring, non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
College can be a stressful time, with new academic demands, social pressures, and uncertainty about the future. College can also be demanding with tight deadlines, exams, and responsibilities, leading to high levels of stress that can become overwhelming.
I have special expertise in helping students navigate the demands of college. I have experience helping individuals who struggle with eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. I also have experience working with individuals who identify as part of a gender, sexuality or relationship structure minority (GSRM).
I also have expertise in healing from narcissistic abuse. Narcissistic abuse is a type of emotional abuse where the abuser only cares about themselves and may use words and actions to manipulate their partner's behavior and emotional state. Healing from this kind of abuse requires expertise from the therapist about navigating boundaries, especially when there is a continuing relationship.
I believe it is a privilege to accompany people on their therapeutic journey. I tailor my approach to each unique individual.
