Welcome and thank you for taking this first step toward becoming the best version of you! Hi, I’m Shannon Gavin, LCSW. I made the move to Colorado in 2020, right after earning my master's degree in Social Work. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work with a broad range of mental health challenges, which has helped me develop a flexible and personalized approach to therapy. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I tailor each therapeutic approach to fit the unique needs and personality of the individual I’m working with. You can expect a laid-back and approachable atmosphere when we work together, but I’m also direct and straightforward when the situation calls for it. My focus is on empowering you while providing a warm and supportive space where you can feel safe to explore your feelings. Whether you've experienced inpatient behavioral health care or are seeking outpatient therapy, I bring experience and genuine care to every session. I’m here to support your journey and help you find practical, meaningful ways to improve your mental well-being.
Many of the clients I work best with are young adults navigating major transitions — starting college, adjusting to new expectations, exploring identity, building relationships, or trying to figure out what comes next. I previously worked at CU Boulder supporting students through the Early Intervention Program and Collegiate Recovery Community, and I understand many of the unique challenges that come with this stage of life. My approach combines traditional therapy with mindfulness and body awareness to help you better understand yourself, manage stress and anxiety, and build a stronger connection with your thoughts, emotions, and needs. Many people come to therapy understanding why they feel stuck but still struggling to create lasting change. Together, we’ll slow down, explore what is happening beneath the surface, and develop greater self-compassion, flexibility, and choice. If you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, I’d be honored to support you. A free 20-minute consultation is an opportunity to see if working together feels like the right fit.
It's nice to meet you! My name is Erica (she/her), and I am a queer therapist working with students who struggle with disordered eating, relationship wounds, anxiety, and substance use. Are you searching for relief from constantly critiquing what you eat or what your body looks like? Then this is the space for you. Are you tired of feeling as though you aren't good enough? Or perhaps you've realized that you're coping with stress in ways that make you think "this isn't me...". Then this too, is the space for you. Many of my clients are college students who are seeking to find more internal stability, emotional regulation, and a deeper understanding and acceptance of who they are. Navigating college is difficult enough, and can feel even more overwhelming when you just can't seem to feel like you. Therapy can help you understand yourself better, feel more self-assured, and provide you with the tools to better manage internal and external stress. I offer a free 30 minute consultation so that we can meet and chat a bit more about how you need support. If you think we might be a good fit, I encourage you to reach out! Wishing you the best in wherever your mental health journey takes you.

Hi! My main goal is always to help my clients to help themselves, so you feel empowered to embrace stress and change as it comes. With experience working in an eating disorder hospital and 7 years working as a therapist in the Athletic Depts at UT Austin and CU Boulder, I've been involved with supporting my clients through the life challenges that high schoolers, young adults, and adults face for my entire professional career. I am EMDR certified and use this to treat trauma, eating disorders, chronic pain, urges in addiction/EDs, and sport performance (both positive reinforcement as well as treating mental blocks). I particularly enjoy teaching tools for navigating anxiety and depressive symptoms, helping to make peace with body image, and supporting mental performance for sport. I also have a passion for supporting perfectionists to expand their view of themselves and learn to release a little of the control that is actually controlling them!

Welcome to a space of warmth, non-judgment, and compassion! I enjoy working with people who are on a journey of self-introspection and discovery. You are the expert of your own life - I am here to help empower you with an approach of gentleness and humor. My work experiences include treatment of eating disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, relationship issues, grief, and perfectionism. I have extensive experience with college-aged clients from my time spent as a therapist at CU Boulder. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I value and respect diverse perspectives. I am passionate about helping people stay present while experiencing meaning and joy. If you are looking to live intentionally and mindfully, we can work together to help you begin your progress towards a more fulfilling life. (Note: I cannot see students attending CU Boulder for my private practice due to my employment at the university)
My ideal clients are adolescents and young adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. A lot of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity questions, or relationship challenges. I also work with children when play-based therapy feels like the best fit for helping them express what they’re going through. In our work together, my focus is on creating a space where you can show up as you are without judgment. I take a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and often draw from DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and psychoeducation to help you better understand what you’re experiencing and build tools that actually fit your life. More than anything, I want therapy to feel like a place where things start to make more sense and feel more manageable over time. We’ll work together to build insight, confidence, and practical coping skills so you can move forward in a way that feels more grounded and supported. My goal is to make starting therapy feel simple and welcoming.
My practice is grounded in a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach that honors each person's unique experiences and innate capacity for growth. I also recognize how systemic influences shape our thoughts, feelings, and relationships. I believe therapy is a collaborative process rooted in compassion, curiosity, and self-expression.Together, we'll explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), I offer both traditional talk therapy and art therapy. Art therapy is for everyone and can simply be another way of exploring what is difficult to put into words. Whether incorporating art, talking it out, or a combination of both, the therapeutic process is guided by your goals and comfort level.
In 2015, I began my own therapy journey, and it truly transformed my life. Understanding myself better and gaining awareness of why I respond the way I do gave me a sense of control and empowerment that I had never experienced before. For the first time, I realized that I could change how I show up in my daily life, how I respond to challenges, and how I engage in relationships. This profound experience inspired me to pursue a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling, so I could help others feel the same sense of empowerment and growth. I prioritize creating a space where my clients feel heard, seen, and validated. When they're ready, I gently challenge them to increase their self-awareness, shift their perspectives, and focus on what they can control. My approach is rooted in compassion and understanding, and I use a combination of person-centered therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help my clients process trauma, manage anxiety, and build healthier thought patterns.

If you have survived trauma, abuse or neglect, I can help you cast off the chains of your past and live the life you desire! I work best with students who are balancing caregiving responsibilities with their own personal and academic goals. Many of my clients experience stress, burnout, grief, or feelings of isolation as they care for a loved one while trying to navigate school and life transitions. My approach is mindfulness-based, practical, and supportive, helping students develop coping strategies, set boundaries, and reconnect with their own needs. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, grief, or the emotional weight of caregiving, I provide a space where you can feel heard and supported. You don’t have to manage everything alone—I’m here to help.
Seity, LLC provides counseling and supervision as a telehealth group practice based in Longmont, Colorado. Seity comes from Latin roots and means ‘to see oneself.’ We are dedicated to helping you see yourself more clearly, both in your individuality and how you fit into your community. Jessica: You are worthy as you are – an imperfect human who is willing to open your heart for your own health and wellbeing. I don't believe there is such a thing as being "fully healed," because that suggests it's possible for you to be broken. There are, however, always new pieces of yourself to discover and you don’t have to do this alone. I believe that where there is willingness, there is hope. I have a deep passion for the natural world and believe humans can be physically and emotionally healthier when they’re connected to the environment. My approach can incorporate traditional psychotherapy with nature-based interventions. I value creating a safe space for you to explore your emotions and can guide and support you through life’s challenges. Alesia: Being of service and offering a compassionate and empathetic ear is what I was put on this Earth to do. As we move toward accepting our reality, finding our dreams, and growing into the healthiest version of ourselves, we can learn to find our basic values and develop our self-worth, dignity, and purpose. I believe you have the capacity for awareness and joy. I aim to facilitate a safe place for you to begin self-exploration so that you may identify your own strengths and take tangible steps toward your goals. I approach the therapeutic relationship as an opportunity to not only listen and understand your experience but also to share information with you that is relevant and meaningful. Whether you need support for yourself or your family, I'm here.
My goal is to help you find new ways to relate to the world and to enable you to embrace your experiences more fully and bravely. I hope to do this by creating a safe, open, and collaborative environment where you can experiment with new ways of relating to yourself and others. I bring in skills from therapies, such as ACT and DBT, to help you find your strengths and develop your resources. And I recognize that the most growth occurs in an authentic relationship which balances compassion with challenge and emphasizes social justice and intersectionality. Having recovered from an eating disorder, I approach my work from a Health-at-Every-Size and fat-positive framework. All bodies are good bodies, all foods are good foods, and all emotions are valid. I also have experience working with interpersonal trauma, grief, relationship struggles, disordered eating and body image concerns, and identity development, as well as anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
