I offer therapy for students dealing with: depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship issues, and EMDR for those recovering from traumatic and life disturbing experiences. I also teach practical skills utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy on mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness. We often seek therapy when we're ready for change and part of our life has become unbalanced. Hi, welcome to my practice! My main goal is to help you rediscover your true self. My approach to psychotherapy is holistic. Healing is most effective if it addresses the full range of the human experience, including body, mind and spirit. This understanding is rooted in my personal journey of healing in different wisdom traditions of the world. I have received training in shamanic traditions of South, Central, and North America. I completed my yoga teacher training in India, studied massage therapy in Thailand and have practiced Chinese martial arts for several years. Additionally, I worked for three years as a wilderness field guide in a wilderness treatment program with and emphasis on addiction. In my practice, I focus on somatic or body-based therapy, as well internal family systems and transpersonal psychotherapy. Some of my areas of expertise are trauma, addiction, sexuality, identity, anxiety and depression. I do talk therapy, as well as ketamine and cannabis-assisted therapy. I am devoted to being an unconditional support to my clients, walking beside them as they heal their deepest wounds and rediscover the wisdom of their body along the way.

She works with students experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood-related concerns, with a strong understanding of academic pressures, life transitions, and balancing school, work, and relationships. Kristina takes a supportive, collaborative approach, helping students feel comfortable, heard, and involved in their care. Treatment is personalized and focused on finding the right medication plan while building stability, focus, and overall well-being. Appointments are conducted via telehealth, making it easy to fit care into a busy class schedule.

Maybe there is a sense of something still to be discovered. Through my work with Inner World Building, a hands on, active, somatic therapy, the unknown can be known, felt and expressed in a way that words can't. Not sure if this approach is for you? But talking and integrating one's experience is an additive important part of the process.

I earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Canterbury University, New Zealand (2009) and her master’s degree in motivational psychology from the University in Zurich, Switzerland (2012). She also holds an additional master's degree from Naropa University in contemplative psychology. I bring my unique blend of experiences to her work. Among other adventures, I have worked in Zanskar Valley in Ladakh, Northern India and has studied psychology in Nepal, Indian. I have also taught Yoga and Yoga therapy to athletes. I take a trauma informed approach to therapy, combining her training in Somatic Experiencing with other contemplative approaches as well as elements of IFS, Polyvagal, solution focused therapy, and positive psychology.
