Ever feel like you're navigating through a fog when it comes to understanding your emotions, needs, or desires? Imagine a life where you truly connect with yourself and those around you, where past traumas become stepping stones to a brighter future. At Inclusive Therapy and Consulting Services LLC, we don't just offer therapy — we open doors to a transformative experience. Specializing in supporting the LGBTQ+ community, individuals living with HIV, and their allies, our mission is to bring you world-class psychotherapy that's not just compassionate but deeply tailored to your unique journey. Because everyone deserves a space where they're not just heard, but truly understood. I completed my Master's in Social Work from Columbia University, New York, in 2010. During my tenure in New York, I furthered my training with the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, emphasizing care for LGBTQ+ outpatient adults. Over the past twelve years, I've had the honor of working with a myriad of individuals and couples representing all gender expressions, sexual orientations, and diverse relationship configurations, including polyamory, consensual non-monogamy, kink, and BDSM. Before establishing my private practice, I dedicated four years as the Director of Behavioral Health, specializing in mental health care for those living with HIV/AIDS. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist, with over a decade of specialized clinical experience. As a queer-identified, trauma-informed, and sex-positive professional, my expertise lies in supporting individuals living with HIV, addressing substance use disorders, and working with a broad spectrum of relationship dynamics. I also offer dedicated services in sex therapy, as well as therapeutic interventions for trauma, anxiety, mood, and adjustment disorders. My therapeutic methodology is eclectic, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Relational Therapy, and more. At the heart of my practice is the conviction that everyone has the right to lead an open, secure, and fulfilling life. Establishing wholesome relationships with oneself and with others is instrumental in embracing our most genuine selves.

I am a good fit for clients who are seeking an active therapist. I work well with clients who are motivated for self-exploration and behavioral change. I believe therapy offers clients an opportunity to explore discomfort, emotional pain, and discover how to live more authentically. During college years, living away from home often for the first time can be challenging. Introduction to new theories and perspectives as well as people from different backgrounds can be anxiety provoking, shaking up what was previously thought to be "truths." Many college students find themselves reworking their sense of self, wanting to become their best most authentic self.
You want better relationships with your partner, your family, and most importantly, with yourself. Although you've found success in many areas of life, you're struggling to adjust to a recent life change like a move to a new place, the birth of a child, or the start or end of an important relationship. Maybe you've found yourself experiencing more stress than you're used to, you're close to burnout, or you find it really difficult to prioritize your own sense of well-being over others. If any of this sounds familiar to you, I would love to talk with you and learn more about your goals. I work with adults and couples who are motivated to know themselves in a deeper and more compassionate way, and are ready to experience real success during their time in therapy. I can help you get un-stuck and create opportunities for you to tap into your own curiosity, compassion, and creativity so that you’re able to have the life and relationships that you want. My goal is for you to experience positive change from our first session together. I have limited availability for telehealth appointments for adults and couples. Please reach out to inquire about current availability and schedule your first session! *INSURANCE & MEDICAID NOT ACCEPTED*, however you may use credit cards or HSA/FSA cards to pay for your sessions. Life is going okay, but you know it could be better. You want better relationships or you’re having trouble navigating boundaries with that one family member. You’re feeling depressed, anxious, stressed, and you’re self-aware, but you don’t know what to do about it. There is this nagging belief that something is wrong with you or that you should be doing more. Maybe you’re in transition and or you just really want to make sure you’re mentally well. Individual therapy is great for addressing all of these challenges and joys in life. Part of what works about individual therapy is a solid relationship with a therapist who really gets you, helps you see different perspectives, and helps you make sense of what is going on in your life. You’re the expert on you and as a therapist, I walk with you to help you heal and move forward.
We realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor our therapy to meet the specific needs of our clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, we will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way. Our practice specializes in treating individuals, couples and families. We also offer group therapy both virtually and in person. I identify as a Togolese immigrant, daughter, sister, fur-mom, and wife in an interracial marriage. These identities influence how I show up as a therapist and constantly evolve each day. The challenges I have faced have given me both the insight and desire to work with individuals, couples, and families through their hurdles and to help them find what is and isn’t their story. I believe in the idea of assisting individuals, couples & families of different backgrounds to find their path instead of feeling stuck and tied down to societal expectations or their past maladaptive patterns. Due to the unique makeup of our world, I use an integrative approach with my clients; this allows me to use modalities that best suit the need of my clients. I value providing warmth, kindness, empathy, and directness when needed. I hope this little bio reflects my passion for working with humans of all different backgrounds and the depth of sacredness I hold for being a part of your stories.
I love working with college students. You are at an exciting pivot point in your life. Adjusting to college is both exciting and daunting. You may be dealing with social, cultural and academic stress as you adjust to a new environment. You may begin to look at your childhood and teen years from a new perspective. You may be thinking about the life you want to design for yourself moving forward, and the impact you want to make in the world. I have worked with student athletes and others juggling the demands of college life. In Colorado Springs, I work with students from Colorado College, UCCS, and Pikes Peak State College. I am happy to work with students from UC Boulder and Colorado School of Mines via Telehealth. I believe everyone has the capacity to heal and thrive, and sort out what's distressing or confusing you, including academic stress, romantic relationships, family relationships, friendships, and your relationship with yourself. I offer ways to understand and manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity issues. I am client-centered and take a holistic biopsychosocial approach. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship, and I use evidence-based practices and the latest scientific research to help you achieve relief, clarity, and joy.
Do you feel overwhelmed, disconnected or unmotivated? Have you noticed changes in how you're feeling in your life and want to feel better? The past year has been a challenge for all of us, on every level. Having to manage the challenges of school, work and relationships during a pandemic has led many students to feel intense stress and anxiety, self-doubt, loneliness and depression. Learning about yourself and finding ways to manage challenges all leads to a sense of more control in your life and more confidence overall. I believe that when we take time to connect and have a space to talk, we realize what we're feeling is human and valid. Even in our hardest times, we all have strengths to build upon. I work with you to increase your awareness of your thoughts, your body and how to feel more connected to both. I am passionate about working with teens and young adults and work with many college students. I believe in an inclusive, supportive, collaborative therapy experience that feels empowering to you. I use a blended approach to therapy, focusing on strengths and skills and enjoy working on communication, self-advocacy and healthy relationships. I also blend skills such as mindfulness and other techniques to address specific anxiety disorders, such as social anxiety and OCD.
I offer a welcoming, down-to-earth space where children, teens, and adults can show up just as they are. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Reality Therapy. My goal as a therapist is to create a supportive environment for folks to explore their gender and sexuality. Perhaps you identify as queer, bi, lesbian, gay, pan, ace, trans, nonbinary, agender, poly, kinky, something else, all of the above, or nothing at all. You deserve to have a space where you can learn more about your identity without judgment or pressure. Even if your identity isn’t central to your therapy goals, I will always aim to honor and validate every part of who you are in our work. My therapeutic style is collaborative and anti-oppressive. My approach is integrative, using tools from a variety of therapeutic modalities—relational, CBT, narrative, sex therapy—that are best suited to each unique client. In addition to specializing in identity, I support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and relationship issues. My aim is to co-create a space with you that facilitates growth, emotional awareness, and authentic self-expression.
