Hello! We are a woman-owned, LGBTQ+ owned outpatient clinic that provides psychiatric medication management with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, in addition to relational therapy. We are a practice committed to serving marginalized communities and providing excellent care. We take all major insurances in addition to Medicaid. We are currently getting credentialed with Medicare. Our standard appointment times are longer than most, with 90-minute intakes and 45-minute follows ups as needed. We look forward to talking to you!
I work with young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life adjustments, academic/career stress, body image, identity/self-esteem, LGBTQIA+ issues, and sleep issues. I am trained through an eclectic array of therapeutic modalities but often work through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens. When working with sleep issues and insomnia, I am trained in CBT-I (CBT for insomnia). I prioritize meeting every client and family where they are in order to formulate an individualized treatment plan that works best for you. I enjoy genuinely connecting with my clients and their families by leaning on client strengths, values, and the authenticity of the therapeutic relationship. I find it beneficial to bring our personalities and humanness into the therapeutic process to facilitate a safe space for my clients. Life can be really messy and I'm honored to join you in that vulnerability. If it sounds like l might be a good fit for you, please reach out for a consultation! I'd be happy to connect with you.
My approach to this work is open, honest, and transparent. I will work collaboratively with you to create a safe and trusting space so that you can feel heard, supported and understood in a way that encourages you to process your experiences at your own pace. This is your journey and you deserve to feel empowered and confident in the now, AND as you embark on your future. Being a young person in this world is tough enough and having space to process your world view and navigating a new level of independence can be challenging. You deserve to focus on your mental health and I would be honored to support you along your journey. I offer free 20-minute consultations, so please do not hesitate to reach out, no commitment necessary just an informal chat to see if we would be a good fit. Here is one of my favorite quotes: “The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” ― Carl Gustav Jung I'd love to support you in discovering your true identity and finding your voice in this world!

Know Yourself. Trust Yourself. Be Yourself. At Balanced Mental Wellness, we address the root cause of mental health conditions, rather that treating surface symptoms. Our practice operates from the belief that all individuals are created whole. We combine personalized holistic modalities with innovative medical treatments to promote healing and connection to self. Come Home to Yourself™ We also offer Ketamine assisted psychotherapy and treatment for psychosis through med management.
I focus on working with clients to recognize your inherent worthiness at work and within relationships, build trust in your inner wisdom, and integrate mindfulness and spirituality into your daily life. Whether you are coming out of a painful breakup, redefining your career path, navigating how to ask for what you need in partnership, or creating a kinder relationship with yourself, our work together can help you build self-confidence, self-awareness, and stress management techniques. My ideal client is someone who wants to embody their creative side, is curious about spirituality, and longs to step into their greatness. I specialize in mindfulness as a tool to build a more loving relationship with yourself. I bring an integrated head (concrete exercises you can practice between sessions) and heart (deeper understanding of self and how to relate differently with your thoughts and feelings) approach. If you’ve been thinking, “I want to trust myself. I want to trust my intuition/inner knowing. I want to love myself wholeheartedly - on the days I feel powerful and the days I feel small. I want to embody the badass human I was born to be.”- This work is for you.

Hi, I'm Michael, I understand that tackling life's challenges can feel daunting. We can feel overwhelmed, and not sure where to start. Whether you are going through a tough time or have been grappling with an ongoing mental health concern, therapy can be a tool to help you learn more about yourself and develop strategies to better manage these challenges. Prior to going into private practice I worked in college counseling for 5 years so I am familiar with the unique challenges college students face in managing their mental health while in school. In working with me, clients can expect to have a warm and non-judgmental space where they can work through personal challenges as well as work towards goals and areas of growth. Outside of work I enjoy catching a horror movie, hiking, and spending time with my diva of a cat. Some of my areas of clinical interest include, relationship and family issues, college counseling, trauma, anxiety, non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships, substance use, grief & loss, and depression. I have a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and have experience providing safe and affirming therapy for trans and non-binary clients. Finding a therapist that is a good fit for you is so important. If you are interested in learning more about me and my approach to therapy please reach out and we can schedule a free 15 minute consultation. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I am dedicated to supporting people as they navigate through the new chapters that pregnancy and parenthood bring. I'm certified and trained through Postpartum Support International as an advocate to increase awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety symptoms. I also specialize in grief and loss, infertility, and adoption. In addition, I offer services and support to individuals and couples wanting to improve their relationships with themselves, their partners and/or their family. I specialize in working with those who are experiencing; depression, anxiety, grief, relational challenges, self-identity issues and trauma. My goal as your therapist is to provide you with an environment where you feel heard and understood. I value creating relationships with my clients and want to build a trusting space for you. I work in collaboration with you to find skills that work for you on an individual basis; actively working towards moving your life in a direction that you desire. Unlike traditional talk-therapy, our work is present-focused, where we work on identifying your values and goals, and look into how they fit into your life. It’s common to believe that you should be able to handle whatever life throws at you on your own, however having support and guidance along the way can make the learning curve much less intimidating.
Charlie Health is a virtual behavioral health program for adolescents and young adults with moderate or severe mental health concerns or co-occurring substance use or eating disorders. Designed to meet the needs of those who require more than weekly therapy, our program combines curated group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy into personalized treatment programs. We are helping to serve those who are in crisis, or have been historically underserved, by eliminating the most significant treatment barriers: geographical and financial access. We work with nearly all commercial insurance nationwide and have no waitlist, thereby helping people access quality, evidence-based care regardless of insurance, location, or other barriers.

I enjoy the experience of witnessing my clients release traumatic events from their core. I know and understand, as I have been there myself, what it feels like to feel weighted down by events/emotions that are no longer in existence. I help my clients release these combinations of events and emotions that no longer serve them.
I support young adults navigating the stress and pressure that comes with college life. If you’re dealing with anxiety, academic burnout, transitions, identity shifts, relationship changes, or adjusting to living on your own, you’re not alone. My approach is straightforward and supportive, offering tools to help you manage your emotions, make sense of your experiences, and feel more steady and capable during this phase of life.
Authenticity is central to my work—I show up as my full self so you can feel safe doing the same. As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, I’m passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ and late-identified neurodivergent individuals in unmasking, exploring identity, and building lives that feel genuine and sustainable. My approach is eclectic and inclusive, drawing from multiple modalities to create care that fits you. I integrate Geek Therapy and continually work to decolonize my practice. I’m sex-positive, kink-aware, and affirming of LGBTQ+ and ENM identities. Let’s work together to help you feel more fully, authentically you.
