Hello! I've explored many roles in the last 10+ years working in school, community, inpatient, and outpatient settings. I have found that I enjoy working with people of all ages, but I have a soft spot in my heart for working with the young or young at heart, who are willing to explore the therapy process in creative ways. I love when I can use my training as a dance/movement therapist, and I am also practical and enjoy helping clients accomplish their goals more directly through skills teaching. I have training and experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I am a licensed Professional Counselor, and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist with over 10 years working in the mental health field as a recovery specialist, therapist, and practicum supervisor. I bring an eclectic approach to treatment incorporating creative arts, play, movement exploration, skills teaching, and talk-based interventions to my practice. I know it can be challenging to take that first step of asking for help. Whether your are looking for more traditional talk-based therapies or are interested in creative means of self-exploration and communication, I'm excited to offer my support. If old patterns have not been serving you, lets start the journey of discovering new ways to "move though life."

At Truth Center for Health and Healing we've learned the importance of the connection with ourselves and the relationships around us. Often times, feelings of depression, anxiety, and difficulties within relationships are triggered from previous experiences/ traumas that cause us to be “stuck” in unhealthy patterns of living. We believe in connecting with each client through exploring their current living patterns that have them in unhealthy relationships, making poor decisions and/or struggling to maintain daily living. We work collaboratively with clients to empower them to create new patterns in their relationships and in life to get “unstuck”. We believe once you have been able to explore your past relationships/traumas, you will be able to begin healing from past hurts, connect more with your authentic self and feel empowered to work towards improving your current and future relationships.

School can be some of the most rewarding years of your life but they can also be overwhelming. Between classes, internships, work, relationships, family expectations, finances, and figuring out who you are and where you're headed, sometimes it's good to have some extra support. Therapy gives you a place to talk openly about what's going on, without judgment. Whether you're feeling anxious, stressed, burned out, stuck, lonely, or simply trying to make sense of a major life transition, you don't have to navigate it alone. I work with college and graduate students on concerns such as anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, identity exploration, gender identity, academic stress, life transitions, binge eating, and body image. Many of my clients are also learning how to manage life on their own for the first time and are discovering that no one ever really taught them how to handle the emotional side of money. As a Certified Financial Social Worker, I can help you develop a healthier relationship with money, spending, debt, budgeting, and financial decision-making. Together, we can explore both the practical and emotional aspects of financial wellness so you feel more confident and in control. My style is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. I'll meet you where you are, help you build on your strengths, and offer practical tools along the way. If you're curious about working together, I'd be happy to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit.

Healing isn’t easy & taking the first step of seeking a therapist takes a lot of courage. Healing involves being patient & kind with yourself, along with stepping out of your comfort zone in order to talk about tough things so you can grow. Often in life we are faced with many challenges and feel like we are just stuck. Transitioning into college can be a difficult process but with the help of a therapist you can work towards having a more balanced life. Together we will work to identify unhealthy patterns and develop skills to help you take control of your life. I offer my clients a person-centered approach, recognizing that the client is the expert of their life. This means that the client is the driver of their sessions and I am the guide. I have extensive experience working with people who experience panic, anxiety, and depression. I also specialize in trauma and I am trained in TFCBT and EMDR. Finding a therapist who you are comfortable with and feel supported by is an important part of the healing process. I look forward to embarking on this journey with you. At Intersection Therapy, we hope to meet your needs and help you find effective ways to process your stress! Meeting individuals where they are, Our therapists provide art therapy, EMDR, and verbal counseling interchangeably. We encourage individuals to face their own ambivalence to process the uncomfortable topics brought out in therapy through artistic introspection. Finding the words to describe your life challenges and accomplishments will be made conscious through various creative processes in your sessions. We have each learned to blend empathy, support, equality, and validation for each of the life events that you are needing to process. The best way to provide you the appropriate space for change is meeting you where you are as it pertains to your journey for change. We have each worked in various settings within the mental health community including residential treatment, acute inpatient, alternative and regular education, in-home based counseling, and most recently private practice serving children, adolescents, adults, families, and individuals in relationships. As a Latinx and LGBTQIA+ owned/run practice, we hope to provide a safe therapeutic space to the individuals seeking support through our practice! We look forward to building a lasting therapeutic alliance with you at whatever intersection of life you are in.

My practice is grounded in a collaborative, strengths-based approach designed to help you shift your mindset and tap into the unique skills already within you. I strive to create an open, safe, and relaxed space where you can freely share your story exactly as you are. Therapy isn't about rewriting who you are; it's about changing how you relate to your thoughts by identifying the underlying beliefs that might be holding you back and gently reframing them. If you are feeling anxious about your first session, you are not alone. Our initial time together is a collaborative, low-pressure introduction. We will focus on building rapport and getting to know one another at a pace that feels right for you. We'll slowly dive into what you want to get out of therapy, outline your goals, and explore how the process works. Think of this session as a comfortable space to address any questions or concerns you have as we begin this journey together.

You’ve had enough of the shame, secrecy, and broken promises tied to pornography addiction. You’re capable and successful—yet inside you feel stuck. Trying harder hasn’t worked. Rules, willpower, and white-knuckling fail over time. For some, a relationship they care about is at risk. For others, it’s the quiet fear of where this is heading if nothing changes. For those dealing with porn or sexual addiction, generic counseling isn’t enough. This depth of work requires a specialized, focused approach that addresses what’s actually driving the behavior—not just trying to stop it. I’m Pete, founder of Proven Path Counseling—an award-winning psychotherapist with 15 years of experience serving PA & NJ, specializing in porn and sex addiction. I’m recognized as a trusted authority in men’s issues and sexual addiction, training and supervising other clinicians and appearing in media on sexual addiction, trauma, and men’s mental health. Clients value my active, direct, and encouraging approach—real accountability, practical tools, and work that targets the drivers beneath the patterns so change actually lasts. That's why men and other therapists trust my work. If you’re here, you’ve already taken an important first step. Reach out for a free consultation to see if we're a good fit.

Hello there, Feeling stuck? Feeling stressed out about all the things that are competing for your attention? Wanting to change your relationship with yourself, so you can spread your wings and soar? I'm Stefan (he/him) and I want to be there on your journey. Starting therapy can feel scary, even if you've been in therapy before! To lower that intensity a bit, I want you to give you an idea of how I show up to sessions: - I get to know you - your family, friends, hobbies, shows, loves, fears, passions. - I celebrate and hype you up when you do the hard thing. - I ask questions to get you curious about patterns in your life, and point out when you might not be aware of them. - I offer compassion when your mind creates judgments about yourself. - I welcome and ask for feedback, knowing some things will land and others will not. - I laugh with you and value humor. - I tear up when you feel hurt or uncover a tender spot (while also holding space for you to feel). - I'll tell you I'm proud of you. - I nerd out about mental health, skills, approaches, and explain concepts in a way you'll understand. - I slow down and speed up based on your cues, and I give you choice in how we go about sessions. - I'm always working on our relationship, so there's trust and security when we get to difficult things. - I acknowledge the bigger systems of oppression that affect your life and lives of your loved ones. - I'm active and dynamic in sessions - sometimes asking questions, leading an activity, listening and reflecting, interrupting to highlight something you said, and synthesizing information and summarizing it back to you. All of this "I" is the effort I put into helping you get to "you": what you want, what you care about, your goals, dreams, your emotions, stressors, internal talk, and who you want to become and how you want to show up in life. Specialties: queer and trans identities and lived experiences, anxiety and depression, perfectionism, substance use, navigating family dynamics, healing trauma, couples and relationship work, career discernment Approaches: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR; trauma approach), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Method (for relationship work), mindfulness and somatic interventions I'm an associate counselor, seeing clients through telehealth in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and California. My typical availability is 8am-5pm EST, although I sometimes see clients earlier in the morning or early evening. I have in-person availability in Northampton, MA on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please reach out with any questions! I accept the following insurances: - United/Optum/UMR/UHC in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and California - Sutter Health and Kaiser (through Carelon) in California - Harvard Pilgrim in Massachusetts Private pay rates are: Individual - $125-$175 Couples/Relationships/Family - $145-$195
