I believe that therapy is a partnership. You and I will work together in helping you make progress achieving your goals. My purpose is to have you walk out of a session feeling better than when you first arrived. This is serious work, yet I believe as with all things in life, laughter should be a key component of therapy!! I stay cognizant of the fact that therapy is a time commitment, a financial commitment, and especially, an emotional commitment. If we work together, please know that I am just as committed to you, and to the therapeutic process of healing.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience on staff in college counseling centers and in private practice. I work to form a trusting relationship with students so that they have a safe space to work through the challenges they are facing. As a member of the LGBTQ community, I am especially focused on providing inclusive, affirming care for students whose identities may not be represented or supported as well as they could be in the available campus resources - whether that be by virtue of sexuality and gender, or other facets of life experience. If you are feeling stuck academically or socially, struggling with mood or anxiety, trying to figure out who you are and your place at school and at home - I am here to help you find your way through it.
Mental health is the foundation of everything: our health, happiness, success, and sense of community. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, I use evidence based treatments and a holistic approach to help support individuals navigating mental health challenges. My education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and my 6 years of practice at the Center for Hope and Health have provided invaluable experience and specialized training using CBT interventions to treat anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, and trauma-stressor related disorders. I am trained in a variety of evidence based models including Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Eating Disorders, and Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, which enhances my ability to provide targeted interventions for clients. I am committed to providing an empathetic and warm approach to therapy coupled with evidence based techniques in order to create a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, build resilience, and to heal. Keith Casey's approach to therapy is to be empathetic and encouraging. The most gratifying part of his job is when he sees someone embrace the idea that change is possible. I support men navigating concerns such as low mood, stress, anxiety, significant life transitions, and establishing work-life balance. I also specialize in sex therapy, and help clients with exploring identity, dating challenges, sexual difficulties, and relationship dynamics. I provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space for clients to discuss what’s most important to them. In addition to processing and unpacking relevant issues that clients might be facing, I also assist them in developing a toolbox of coping strategies to help them build the life they want to be living. I am an LCSW and graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work. I have years of experience working as a therapist in various settings, facilitating individual and group therapy. My style is warm and collaborative, with an approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, with a strong emphasis on developing and enhancing coping strategies.
I support students who are used to holding it together for everyone else—but privately struggle with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, trauma, or feeling disconnected from themselves and others. You might overthink everything, avoid asking for help, or feel exhausted by the pressure to perform academically and socially. My practice offers a warm, steady space to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and build real coping skills—not just quick fixes. I provide trauma-informed therapy using EMDR, partswork, art therapy, and somatic/body-based approaches that help you understand how stress and past experiences affect your body, emotions, and relationships so you can feel more grounded and confident. I accept funding through VCAP (Victim Compensation Assistance Program) which helps cover the cost of 6-12 months of therapy for sexual assault survivors in Pennsylvania (no need to have ever reported assault in order to be eligible to apply).
