Clients who work best with me tend to yearn awakening and change. I welcome the challenge to help clients connect with higher versions of themselves. Difficult emotions, relationships and the stress of life often lead to feeling stuck, feeling out of control of yourself, your emotions and your reactions. My goal is to show you that there is a better way. A way to live with intention and purpose, guided by the best version of you!

Welcome! Let’s explore what a meaningful and balanced life looks like for you as an undergraduate or graduate student. I work with students on managing anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD. I also enjoy helping students build stress management skills and navigate life transitions, identity exploration, relationship stress, or feeling “stuck” or burned out. My goal is to keep sessions feeling genuine and conversational, and to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while we work together on what matters most to you. I use evidence-based approaches to help you manage difficult thoughts and emotions, reduce self-criticism, and build coping skills that actually work. I also offer EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma, and Inference-Based CBT for OCD. If you’re curious about starting therapy or just want to see if we’re a good fit, I offer free 15-minute video consultations. Email is the best way to reach me.

Life transitions, relationships, and past events can be complicated. We all have those patterns—the ones where we know we're self-sabotaging, but we do it anyway. Whether it’s messy relationships, past stuff that keeps popping up, or the overwhelming stress of being a young adult in a chaotic world, you don't have to piece it together alone. Some days you might need a roadmap and direct advice; other days, you just need a safe space to sit with the big, scary questions. If you’re looking for a mix of humor, directness, and a partner to help you navigate, let's talk. I specialize in helping people explore the "in-between" stages of life and processing the heavy stuff that holds them back. LGBTQ+ affirming and provide gender affirming care letters. It can be difficult to navigate finding mental health care, but you’ve made it this far. I view my role as holding a warm space for us to explore what is working and not working for you in your life. Most of us weren’t taught how to experience our emotions mindfully and respond with intention. It makes sense that many of us struggle with responding to our emotions compassionately. I may help you identify, understand, and accept difficult internal experiences while taking meaningful action in your life. My experiences range from outpatient care to more intensive eating disorder partial hospitalization. I seek to help you feel empowered to move through the world in your body as it is in this moment. Whether or not you’re struggling with your relationship with food or your body, I find self-compassion an important tool in promoting mental health. One of the ways change happens is by doing something differently than you’ve done before. I encourage you to make small changes in between sessions as we work together. The therapy process can be a challenging yet rewarding experience. I'd be honored to be a part of it with you.

In DC and Ohio, we may accept some of the above plans or may be out of network (depending on your location). My approach cultivates empowerment through compassionate support. I fully believe that within you, resides the inherent capacity to find your way through the most difficult of circumstances. It is my perspective however, that we often just need a bit of assistance in cultivating that path. While I work with clients on a variety of issues, my specialization is in treating chronic and complex PTSD through a somatic and attachment-focused lens. ADHD, nutrition/lifestyle change, body image and self-esteem are further treatment areas of niche interest. With more than 15 years of extensive career experience as a psychotherapist and in the field of behavioral health, I have come to one solid conclusion: The path toward healing is not so much about becoming anything. Often, it is about unbecoming everything that isn’t you, so that you can be who you were truly meant to be in the first place.
