I have worked as a psychologist at 5 colleges during the course of my career, including serving as a counseling center director for many years. This means that I have a passion and commitment to students who are pursuing their education. Whether you are a traditional age student or non-traditional age student, college brings with it many new experiences and opportunities for personal growth and self discovery which can also be emotionally and interpersonally challenging. I specialize in assisting students with transitions such as changes in family dynamics, romantic relationships, career, adapting to a new environment cultural and other identity issues, educational struggles, stress, grief and loss, and shifts in personal or loved ones’ health. My extensive background in college student mental health has enhanced my ability to collaborate compassionately and respectfully with individuals from all walks of life, helping them gain a deeper understanding of their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors.

Hi there! My name is Brianna, and I intertwine my experiences as a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, perpetual student, community organizer, and insights from my own mental health journey into my holistic practice. I aim to provide an engaging and warm environment where together we can access tools to help you cope with stressors; set healthy boundaries and improve communication to fuel connection and build relationships; step into your emotions to better regulate them; reprocess past traumatic experiences; and strengthen your attunement and awareness to your body. You have the innate power to heal yourself, I’m simply here to guide and empower you along the way. I use techniques from multiple modalities, such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), somatic experiencing (SE), internal family systems (IFS), intuitive eating, and feminist therapy, while always adding a multicultural and anti-oppressive lens. Together we can collaborate to tailor an approach that best addresses your needs in an environment where you feel seen, heard, and empowered. Licensed Professional Counselor
Shaker Heights, OH

I support teens and young adults through some of the most formative and overwhelming seasons of life. I work especially with college students and young adults navigating anxiety, identity shifts, relationship challenges, and emotional distress. The years between adolescence and adulthood can feel heavy, full of pressure, loss, questions, and quiet self-doubt. It can feel isolating to hold it all inside. You deserve a space where you don't have to. I integrate evidence-based practices with a person-centered lens. I focus not only on symptoms, but on understanding the deeper patterns, experiences, and emotions shaping your life. While tools and strategies are important, I believe meaningful change begins with connection. Therapy is relational, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s individual needs, not overly clinical or intimidating. My goal is not to “fix” you — it’s to help you understand yourself more fully, build resilience, and move forward with clarity.
