Are you or a loved one feeling stuck – uncertain about navigating changes in your life, how you see yourself, or how to reconnect with those close to you? When we feel stuck, taking steps forward can feel like a monumental task. We can work together to break down your thoughts and uncertainties, determine the best way forward, and put practical strategies into action, to empower you to create the life you want for yourself. In me, you’ll have a collaborator who will follow your lead and ensure you feel you heard but will be willing to challenge you and continue to motivate you towards achieving your goals. Therapy with me involves weaving together practical skill-building and evidence-based strategies to help you achieve your individualized goals. I work with individuals experiencing difficult life transitions at work, at home, or at school. Through individual, parent, or family sessions, we will untangle your thoughts, improve your self-esteem, and take tangible steps towards sustainable change. Neurodiversity (Autism & ADHD) affirming and LGBTQ+ friendly, I always take a person-centric approach. I work with clients who experience trauma, whether it is childhood sexual, physical, or emotional abuse, or more recent traumatic events. You might wish to forget about it by not talking about it, but it often comes back and “haunts” you. The best way to deal with a “ghost” is to talk about it and take away its power over you. It is normal that you want to avoid it. However, the worst part of Trauma is that it continues. I would like to help you work through it, separate the past from the present so you can move on with your life. I am also very much interested in working on Women’s Issues, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. You might feel compelled to behave in certain ways, and you don't understand your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Together, we will explore what works for you and what doesn’t by listening and seeking understanding. I will help reflect on any parts you did not understand before. With more information about yourself, you will be able to make better choices. I partner with teens and adults to navigate the complexities of trauma, intimate partner violence, and self-harm. Together, we work to understand fear, anger, shame, guilt, and envy, these difficult and painful emotions, rebuild your self-esteem, and cultivate a sense of resilience. I am licensed in New York and New Jersey and offer both online therapy and in-person sessions at my office located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. I am fluent in both English and Mandarin

I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. I work from a collaborative, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed perspective and specialize in working with members of the queer, kink, sex work, and non-monogamous communities. I work with clients who are seeking support in a wide range of areas while offering expertise in sex and relationship issues.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I take an integrative approach to therapy for adults and older adults. My work centers on helping you navigate anxiety, depression, relational trauma, and the often-disorienting weight of life transitions. Whether you're grieving a loss, stumbling through the fog after an impactful change, or simply wondering "how did I get here?" — you don't have to figure it out alone. I believe in the power of genuine, human-to-human connection. As your therapist, I aim to be a steady and honest partner in your growth: someone who celebrates your wins, sits with you in the hard moments, and gently challenges you when you're ready. Together, we'll work to help you discover your own inner strength, build self-compassion, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, because neither is your story. I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build practical coping skills, psychodynamic therapy to understand how your past shows up in your present, and solution-focused techniques when you need momentum and clarity. I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build self-awareness and create lasting change. What you can expect from our work together is a safe, judgment-free space. I believe in being a real human in the room with a clinical lens, balancing warmth and personality with genuine therapeutic support. Your unique story, values, and goals shape the direction of our work, and I tailor my approach to meet you exactly where you are. My path to becoming a therapist began early. Growing up, I played the role of the fixer, the doer, the "don't need to worry about her" child in my family, because that was where I felt most seen. Those personal experiences gave me a close view of how isolation and shame keep people stuck in familiar but unhealthy loops, and how one safe, honest connection can begin to untangle that. That understanding deepened my commitment to care that is both compassionate and direct, never dismissive. Now, I bring my full, authentic self to each session: curious, collaborative, and unafraid to sit with hard things. Outside of my role as a mental health clinician, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and my cat, Chichi. I also love trying new restaurants, catching movies at different theaters around the city, traveling to the next destination on my ever-growing bucket list, and dabbling in art just for the fun of it.
I offer sessions that are client focused and curious. In our sessions, we co-create a space with compassion, creativity and humor to foster an environment where you can feel both safe and challenged to grow. I practice with a psychodynamic relational approach that is trauma-informed and socially aware of power and privilege, critical of psychological paradigms that pathologize suffering. I specialize in working with queer and trans clients with a particular focus on trauma, dissociation, and grief. I ground my work in an anti-oppressive and queer-affirming approach that acknowledges the many experiences we bring on both an individual and societal level.
Acceptance, emotionally honesty

Prior to becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I worked in NYC public schools as a School Counselor for about 10 years. I have extensive knowledge in dealing with all types of school issues and working with families. I specialized in college transition and managing college as a first-generation college student. I look forward to meeting you!
