Immediate availability! I specialize in women’s issues, relationship challenges, and supporting individuals and families impacted by autism or special needs. As a former special education teacher, a sibling of brothers with special needs, and a Christian, I bring both professional and personal insight. Using approaches like CBT, Gottman Methods, and EFT, I walk alongside you as you build healthier relationships and learn how reconnect with yourself and others. I practice through a HIPPA compliant Telehealth platform, which eliminates the need to find childcare and allows you to pursue counseling from the comfort of your own home. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing life’s challenges, including relationship issues, autism, women’s issues, OCD, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also specialize in parent coaching, ADHD, military families, and pre-marital and marriage counseling. My counseling approach focuses on building a genuine, trusting relationship with you, as that’s key to effective healing. I’m also happy to incorporate faith if it’s important to you. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect! In my free time, I enjoy being outside, a good cup of coffee, serving at church, baking, and listening to music.
Welcome! I am passionate about the "whole" person, taking a comprehensive, collaborative approach with services. I specialize in working with men, women, teenagers, and boys (6+). If this is you, it is my goal to help you overcome the barriers and problems in your life that are keeping you from experiencing the freedom you are desiring. Often times, these problems are the result of trauma from childhood that is still unresolved. Difficulties that we experience early in life often stay with us into adulthood, creating a a myriad of problems including depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction (sexual, drug/alcohol, work), sexual abuse, lack of self confidence, relationship issues, negative coping habits, physical or auto-immune disorders, & more. In my practice, I utilize a number of trauma informed approaches such as Attachment Focused EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you resolve these early childhood traumas. I believe you can overcome these barriers to experience more peace, joy, and freedom in your life. You can heal. And it would be an honor for me to assist you on this journey. Send me a message for a free 20 minute consultation. (I am not working with insurance right now). See more at www.taylorhouchens.com

Welcome! We help people help themselves to live a more full and whole life, void of medicating and suffering in isolation. We meet our clients where they are and invite them to learn and create what recovery means to them. We do this be holding up a mirror and walking with our clients rather than telling them what they should do. We also help clients connect. Isolation is such a painful symptom of anxiety, depression and medicating. 'Together we can do what we could never do alone' is what we practice at the Relationship Enrichment Center. Reach out, and let us support you.

Emily Dickinson wrote, “Hope is the thing with feathers,” comparing hope to a bird, noting that even something small, sometimes unseen, holds power that can bring you through hardships. Sparrows carry symbolism across many cultures, described to be a representation of resilience, joy, freedom, hope, and community. Here at House of Sparrow we want you to know that you are seen, you are valuable, and that you carry more strength than you know.
