Now accepting new clients ! Beginning therapy is like beginning a journey. You may be feeling stuck, in transition or crisis, or needing to heal from something painful. I offer a safe, authentic relationship. With empathy and respect, I guide you into places too difficult to enter alone . My training and experience in Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling allows me to work with a variety of clients in different demographics.
College is such an important time. You’re learning and growing in classes, and you’re also figuring out who you want to be in the world. Being away from home, navigating friendships and relationships, and making decisions about your future can be exciting, but they can also feel lonely, confusing, or overwhelming. If you’re feeling unsure of yourself or of your path, you’re not alone. I love working with college students and offer a warm, supportive space where you can talk things through, make sense of what you’re feeling, and learn to advocate for what you need. We’ll work together to help you feel more grounded, confident, and at home in your life. I look forward to hearing your story and supporting you as you build the life you want.

Going to a new therapist can be a bit stressful; what will they be like, will they understand me or really be able to help? I often get college students who have tried therapy before and it just didn't work, they do well with me. I use CBT; cognitive behavioral therapy style, give open and honest feedback (don't sit and nod) and have a sense of humor. Graduated from Northeastern, I have been doing this awhile and have some ways of problem solving and really helping. We celebrate your wins and support what you need to be successful. I am always thankful to be invited into your lives to help. This is your journey.
Charlie Health is a virtual behavioral health program for adolescents and young adults with moderate or severe mental health concerns or co-occurring substance use or eating disorders. Designed to meet the needs of those who require more than weekly therapy, our program combines curated group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy into personalized treatment programs. We are helping to serve those who are in crisis, or have been historically underserved, by eliminating the most significant treatment barriers: geographical and financial access. We work with nearly all commercial insurance nationwide and have no waitlist, thereby helping people access quality, evidence-based care regardless of insurance, location, or other barriers.

Person Centered Therapy provides individual, family, and couples therapy to treat a multitude of mental health conditions. I particularly enjoy working with college students and young adults to guide them through career and life transitions as well as helping them to overcome limiting beliefs so they can thrive. I have over 27 years of experience in helping clients overcome anxiety, depression, anger, trauma/PTSD, grief/loss, stress, self-esteem, gender identity, phobias, and other issues which once prevented them from accomplishing their goals and making the important changes they wanted in life. Clients can expect “person centered” therapy which means the focus is on each person’s own unique insights and experiences. This empowers our clients to take a lead role in their therapy which offers them autonomy, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and help to reach their full potential to live a fulfilling life. We offer a safe and supportive environment so clients not only receive encouragement, but also feel comfortable being fully involved in sharing their thoughts and experiences. Such a supportive approach encourages clients to explore their own insights, find solutions, and take a very active role in their therapy. This method also promotes self-awareness, personal growth, autonomy and empowerment plus helps to develop healthy and effective coping strategies to improve emotional well-being and functioning across all areas.
I help folks ages 18+ in NY, CT, OR, and FL who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions. I am a compassionate and nonjudgmental therapist who prioritizes creating a space in which my clients feel “held,” heard, and helped. My approach is personalized, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. My practice is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and utilizes a range of techniques including awareness of sensations in the body, narrative interventions, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. I believe everyone has the capacity to heal and that meaningful transformations take place in the context of safe and supportive relationships, when we feel seen, understood, and accepted unconditionally. Together, we will process your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to reduce suffering and increase joy, fulfillment, and success. The bottom line: I meet you where you are—with patience, warmth, kindness, and insight. I will assist in identifying and strengthening your own inner resources and wisdom, so we can work more effectively with challenges and pain on the road to a more satisfying life. You don’t have to do this alone.
At its core, therapy is about the people sitting in a room together (or often sitting on computers together), and that safety within the relationship is one of the most important aspects of finding a good fit. I am honored to create that space with you. As a therapist, I start with one basic assumption: you are the expert of your own experience. My hope is to empower people to better understand those experiences or to bring in additional perspectives that might shed more light on aspects of one’s life. Informed by my background in queer theory, feminist theory, and anti-racist ideologies, I work with my clients to identify the external structures of power impacting their lives, then engage with the areas of their lives within their control where they can make changes and achieve their goals. While many forms of therapy take from one another and blend together, I begin with trauma informed relational-focused work and draw heavily on DBT/CBT/mindfulness-based therapy modalities. I view therapeutic relationships as dynamic, and work to tailor the experience to my clients’ needs and preferences. Whether you are someone who likes sessions to feel more conversational, someone who appreciates tangible takeaways like worksheets, or someone who wants to spend time practicing skills in our sessions, we can work together to find a treatment plan that suits you.
Hi! My name is Katie Kalina, a licensed independent clinician with over 6 years of experience. I believe that everyone deserves to be heard and healed, and that as your therapist, it's my job to meet you exactly where you're at. One of my specialties is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). This is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. Eye movement (or other bilateral stimulation) is used to work on one memory at a time for the mind to heal. I have worked with individuals and groups of all ages, from children to teens and adults through anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, body image issues, relationship issues, and anger management. As your therapist, I will make it my mission to make you feel at home in our sessions. Once we meet, I will help you set goals and devise a plan that will make you transform in the ways that you wish to. Looking forward to completing this journey with you and bringing you ongoing success. I have been a mental health counselor for 20 years. I enjoy the process of helping others help themselves. I trust together we can improve your overall life experience. One of the most important things to be looked at is how you interpret experiences and understanding the influence on your moods. Using a journal is a tool to improve your outcomes in therapy. I look forward to meeting you either online or in-person at my home office.
Hi, I'm Lauren! I am a non-binary, queer AuDHD therapist practicing psychodynamic clinical social work in Massachusetts and Oregon. I also identify as white and mid-fat. My pronouns are she/they. In my practice, I specialize in working with adults who identify as, or are exploring whether they may be, LGBTQIA2S+ and/or neurodivergent, especially autistic and/or ADHD. In addition, I help clients work through issues related to depression, anxiety, and relational difficulties. Through an affirming and integrative approach, I provide a warm and supportive therapeutic environment for clients to explore their inner selves and make positive changes in their lives. My work with clients is collaborative, as together we delve into the reasons behind persistent challenges and unearth new aspects of their identities and experiences, ultimately making space for growth, healing, and flourishing. For neurodivergent clients, our sessions often involve working on strategies to improve executive functioning, which includes skills like task initiation, time management, organization, attention, and planning. My approach is aligned with the Health at Every Size (HAES) framework.
