ThrivePointe is a woman-owned company started by licensed mental health therapists. Our group practice offers a radical kind of Remarkable Connection and Clear Direction to the clients we serve because the need to feel connected and secure, especially when under stress, is one of the most fundamental human needs across the lifespan. This means, connection with a caring therapist sets the stage for you to overcome your difficulties. A strong therapeutic alliance helps you regulate emotion and gets you motivated to start making changes. But to see changes that last, you need enough direction to stay the course. Our therapists are expert guides, helping you understand where you are, how you got there, and giving you an individualized roadmap to get where they want to be. We want to know you and empower you to thrive!
Have you experienced therapy in the past but maybe felt like the experience was too stuffy? Do you worry about judgement in the therapist’s office and find yourself filtering what you share? I know this reality is true for many people and my goal is to provide you with a new way of experiencing therapy. I have worked in all levels of care and I truly believe in a warm, holistic, and genuine approach to therapy. There is space for processing, crying, laughing, and anything else you need! I will utilize both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) throughout our work together to set a framework and present some level of psychoeducation. While the development of coping skills and understanding our thoughts and patterns to deal with distress and aid in emotion regulation will be important to our work together, my ultimate goal in therapy is to be flexible and holistic in my approach, working alongside you collaboratively to make powerful change towards the life that you envision. I honor that you are the expert of your own life, and as a therapist I am present to help process, empower, and seek joy. I understand college is one of the most stressful times in life, and having a trusted therapist to help during this transition can make the world of difference. I have been in your shoes and would love to be your partner in experiencing this difficult but rewarding and transformative time in life.
