Hello! My name is Dr. Patrice Mann, and I am a Harvard and Emory-trained, board-certified, adult psychiatrist, offering psychotherapy and medication management for Georgia residents in this 100% virtual practice. I take a holistic approach to care, and create an individual plan of treatment for each person, combining psychotherapy techniques, lifestyle modifications, and medications, as necessary. We can work together to better understand your unique challenges, values, and goals, and use that information to guide our decision making and action plans. My goal is to provide tools and insights for your most pressing challenge today, but also for you to carry forward on your journey. I am currently accepting new patients, with appointments available 2-3 weeks from inquiry, and offering some evening and Saturday options. Jessica R.M. Goodnight, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist. She offers specialty mental health services to people struggling with fear and anxiety, including anxiety and emotional pain that has resulted from traumatic experiences. She uses effective, science-based methods that help people recover and thrive as quickly as possible. These kinds of treatments are a lot like having a physical therapist or a personal trainer - there's work to do, but it pays off. Dr. Goodnight is warm, irreverent, and radically genuine in her style as a therapist.
At RivaWell, I work best with people who are ready for change. You may be high functioning but internally overwhelmed. You might be navigating a life transition, building something new, or realizing that what once worked no longer fits. The clients who thrive here are self aware, open to reflection, and willing to take responsibility for their growth. They are not looking for a quick fix. They want clarity, strategy, and realignment. At RivaWell, we focus on getting to the root, strengthening your nervous system, and helping you make aligned decisions that support the life you are building. If you are ready to do the work and want structured, thoughtful support, I invite you to book a consultation. Let’s determine if we are a good fit.

Hello and welcome! Life can feel like a lot sometimes. You might be feeling overwhelmed by academic pressure, anxiety or depression, questioning your path, navigating complicated relationships, or trying to hold it all together while everyone else seems to be thriving. College and student life can bring growth and independence, but also burnout, impostor syndrome, loneliness, and identity questions. You don’t have to navigate it alone. I specialize in working with students experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and family or relationship challenges. Many of the clients I work with are untangling complex family dynamics, healing from past experiences, or learning how to set boundaries while honoring their cultural or personal values. I also support neurodiverse clients, including those with ADHD and executive functioning challenges, and understand the stress that can come from masking or feeling misunderstood in academic spaces. My approach blends cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapy, meaning we’ll look at both present patterns and deeper roots. Together, we’ll build insight, strengthen coping skills, and help you develop a more supportive and realistic inner voice. Therapy with me is collaborative — we’ll reflect, challenge patterns, and even laugh when it fits. I am committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care for diverse clients, including BIPOC, neurodiverse, and LGBTQ+ individuals. If you’re exploring identity, belonging, or navigating systems that weren’t built with you in mind, that work is welcome here. I aim to create a space where you can show up as you are — warm, supportive, and real (not drive-thru mental health care). I am currently an Associate Professional Counselor (APC), working toward full licensure under the guidance of Lauren Vaughan-D'Angelo, LPC, CPCS. I provide virtual therapy for clients across Georgia, with evening and weekend availability. My standard rate is $125, and I accept select insurance plans as well as self-pay. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots to help keep therapy accessible and within reach. If you’re wondering whether we’re a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute phone “vibe check.”
My name is Dr. Kourtney Carter and I am a licensed therapist here in Atlanta, GA. I have been working in mental health and program development for over 10 years. I have a bachelors degree in clinical psychology, a masters degree in social work with a concentration in health and mental health, and a doctoral degree in health administration. My research focused on the impact of LGBTQ patient satisfaction on patient volume and hospital revenue. I believe mental health should be celebrated and embraced. Our mental health is just as important as our physical health. As a licensed therapist I understand the many changes that life can bring. Change can bring on both healthy and unhealthy emotions. I am here to work with you to assist in getting back to a healthier you. I am experienced in depression, anxiety, stress management, career counseling, adjustment disorder, grief counseling, and LGBTQ++ needs.
I work with anxiety and or depression triggered by single event trauma or complex trauma over time- trauma being any distressing situation where we feel helpless and powerless- These effects can create enduring shadows that stretch across our lives. Disconnected from ourselves and others, and detached from those we want to attach, we begin to think we are that disconnection itself, and it is too painful to be with ourselves or feel our feelings. We end up living in an unbalanced, reactive state of anxiety-or stuck in a freeze state of depression or shut-down. Wounding causes us to live from a defended and limited place of grief and anxieties, seeking any way to avoid and relieve pain. Therapy is the reparative process of healing in relationship and again living from our true authentic self with adaptability, resilience, and creativity. We work together to rebalance the nervous system, increase your ability to be embodied and be in relationship, and experience more completeness, joy, and connection. Work with me to regain your sense of self and feelings of connectedness and empowerment.
