"I am here to get it right, not to be right" - Brene Brown. My role as a therapist is to listen with both an open mind and open heart as well as validate and understand your own lived experiences. I believe you are the expert of your life and posses many beautiful strengths that are yet to be uncovered. Sometimes when we are struggling with symptoms related to our mental health, we may feel out of control and powerless, I want to help you fight back against some of those negative thoughts we experience and feel confident in not only yourself, but in your ability to implement your communication and coping skills when needed. I have experience working with individuals whom have experienced trauma and are struggling with symptoms related to depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I enjoy working with clients on regaining their sense of safety and helping them better understand their mind/body response to trauma. I am trained in TF-CBT & EMDR. I provide services in both English and Spanish. I strive to help my clients not only have positive connections with others, but also with themselves, promoting the importance of self love. I strive to create a safe environment for healing, growing, learning, and maybe doing some unlearning of old habits that no longer serve us.

What is an Authentic Life Path? The question should really be What is YOUR Authentic Life Path? Often in the hustle and bustle of the “real world” we kind of just go with the flow and often lose ourselves. Sometimes it is scary to live our lives authentically. Living authentically means the person you feel you truly are on the inside. I started my career in the IT field, but realized I did not have a passion for it or enjoy it. I wanted to help others. I became a licensed marriage and family therapist, and am now living my authentic life path and want to help you find and live yours. I specialize in working with children, tweens, teens and adults who identify as transgender or genderqueer. I also specialize in the LGBTQIAA+ community. I work with all religions and spiritualities and all types of families no matter what the unique makeup. I provide a safe, supportive environment for you to explore yourself and grow into your most authentic self and find the path that is right for you. Give me a call or email if you have any questions.

I help young women facing difficult life situations find healing, peace, and contentment in their lives. I am a psychiatrist and psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my patients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter. If you have been suffering on your own, I want you to know that there is hope for relief, and that you aren’t alone. I specialize in psychotherapy, with and without integrated use of medication treatment. In addition to a medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and a residency in psychiatry, I pursued specialized psychotherapy training. I am trained in and use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, and mindfulness based therapy. It can be a daunting task to find a therapist and enter into the unknown.
