Are you seeking to live a fuller life less encumbered by stress, anxiety, or self-doubt? Psychodynamic and emotion-focused therapy is a supportive and nonjudgmental process that allows us to develop a deeper understanding of how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by our experiences. Through this work we can foster greater self-awareness, enhance our ability to tune into and regulate our emotions, and become more empowered to live authentically and purposefully in the present, enriching our lives and relationships along the way.
If you are a reflective and curious individual wanting to get more out of your personal relationships or address concerns around self-esteem, anxiety, life events, or health changes (including postpartum mental health; chronic illness), then this approach to therapy may be a good fit for you. I work with adults of all ages and adolescents, ages 12+.
I earned my Master of Social Work from UNC Chapel Hill, have completed training though the UNC Department of Psychiatry Child and Adolescent Clinic, as well as through Postpartum Support International. I value working with individuals diverse in community and identity. Reach out to schedule a first session or book a free consultation call via my website.
