As a licensed mental health clinician, I have worked within a variety of settings with clients from all different backgrounds in terms of race, ethnicity, gender identity, age, and socioeconomic status, etc. I have especially enjoyed working with young adults and youth. My goal as a therapist is to help you face your challenges with grace and dignity, gain clarity into your problems, and strengthen your mental health. With me, you will be able to explore and process your issues in a non-judgmental and safe environment, and foster understanding of yourself through increased awareness and perspective taking.
I incorporate all my clinical training, experiences & skills into therapy. I use a multi-faceted lens to better understand, see & hear you. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and my experience includes treating trauma & stress-related disorders; mood disorders; anxiety disorders; grief; interpersonal challenges & family conflicts.
I see my role as a therapist as being a collaborator in your healing. My focus is to help you feel supported and more connected to yourself so that you can make necessary changes in your life in order to move forward and to live more fully.
