Dr. Cho-Chang is a licensed psychologist who provides individual psychotherapy, couples and family counseling, and spiritually-integrated therapy. She draws from several theoretical orientations including psychodynamic, relational, multi-cultural, spiritual, and family systems perspectives. Dr. Cho-Chang also integrates cognitive behavioral, brief dynamic therapy, and meditation-based CBCT (Cognitively Based Compassion Training) techniques into treatment as appropriate.

Dr. Cho-Chang has a rich experience of working with people from many walks of life in terms of racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds. She provides a warm, inviting, and safe space for her clients from a non-judgmental and compassionate place of human heart.

Dr. Cho-Chang earned her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology and Religion from Boston University and earned a Master’s degree in divinity from Boston University School of Theology. She completed an APA-accredited internship and her post-doctoral fellowship at the Albert and Jessie Danielsen Institute at Boston University. She also taught Spiritual Care class at Harvard Divinity School and Pastoral Care/Counseling at Boston University as an adjunct faculty.
