While I specialize in using a cognitive behavioral (CBT) approach, it may also be useful to integrate insight-oriented therapies, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing approaches, depending on specific client needs.
I utilize tailored approaches with clients to help them become the best versions of themselves. Therapy looks different for everyone, as it should. No matter what each client’s goals are, I emphasize trusting the process. From my perspective you are the expert on yourself; I follow your lead. I work to meet my clients where they are which means that stepping on the gas or pumping the brakes is up to you, allowing you to feel a sense of control during sessions.
