Windhorse Counseling was born out of Alannah DiBona’s passion for transforming the lives of adolescents. After working within the high school system providing transitional support to students, Alannah realized that there were additional needs for her clients beyond what she could provide in the school setting. She built a practice centered on providing supplemental care in a comfortable, safe, and approachable environment. Windhorse Counseling has quickly grown to offer services to individuals, families, and couples from all walks of life. The presence of office dogs, namely Theo the Bloodhound and Milo the Golden Retriever enhances the home-like ambiance and provides therapeutic doses of humor and affection.

Windhorse Counseling operates in the beautiful Damon Mill building with the goal of providing a living-room-like environment for clients of all ages to dig deep, connect, and begin the journey of healing. Located on the Assabet River with an abundance of natural greenery and forestry, the office setting is calming and serene. Clients find that the mindfully decorated indoor space and the quiet, natural surroundings set the stage for inner contemplation and interpersonal connection with our acclaimed and accomplished counselors. With the help of our hard-working office-dogs, clients are also able to loosen up, enjoy hilarious moments, and balance the deep work with lighter moments of pure joy and laughter.
