Psychologist, PhD, MFA
Accepting clients Last Updated 8 days ago

I help my clients become more confident, contented, and true to themselves, while decreasing unhelpful approaches like worry, inaction, bottling emotions, people-pleasing, and avoidance in all its forms.
My clients have recognized that, despite their academic and other successes, something is wrong: their old ways of coping are hitting their limits; their challenges are harder to manage; their interpersonal relationships are fewer and shallower than they'd like; painful thoughts keep resurfacing in their minds; they are struggling to adjust to starting or completing their undergraduate/graduate studies; their inner experience is marked by turmoil and confusion; their low confidence or existential dilemmas lead to stuckness.
Does this sound like you?
I will strive to support you non-judgmentally while promoting your independence. As you recognize and mobilize your strengths, I’ll help you face your challenges more directly.
I find supporting students through all the changes they face to be deeply rewarding and meaningful, and that's been true since I began counseling students in 2010. It's joyful to see my clients experience the relief and satisfaction that comes from engaging more fully in their lives.
I offer individual and couples therapy, as well as DBT skills coaching. I strive to provide trauma informed care. Visit my website or contact me if you’re interested in taking steps towards a healthier, more satisfying life!
