Pre-Licensed Professional
Last Updated 30+ days ago

My approach focuses on helping clients develop self-understanding and learn practical skills. I believe education is a form of empowerment, so I frequently infuse opportunities for clients to learn about psychological concepts that can help them understand their own experience. I also incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion techniques, which help clients become more present and less harsh on themselves. Overall, my style of counseling can be described as supportive, empowering, insightful, collaborative, and oftentimes funny. I genuinely love my job, and I’m grateful for each opportunity to cross paths with, and support, a fellow human being.
