I strongly believe that a safe, empathetic, non-judgmental environment is a place that fosters acceptance and growth. You may find yourself faced with life challenges that feel almost impossible to handle, and the need to have your thoughts and concerns heard and validated. I will walk with you on your journey to self-discovery and self-compassion, as well as provide you with the opportunity to find and apply your strengths to your daily life. We will work to identify and challenge any barriers to growth that may be holding you back from effectively navigating and tolerating the uncomfortable emotions and challenging situations that can arise unexpectedly. I use an eclectic approach to counseling tailored to my client and their needs. I believe that building trust between the client and counselor is of the utmost importance in a therapeutic relationship. I have experience working with a variety of clients with varying mental health needs such as eating disorders, body image concerns, depression, anxiety, adjustment to life changes, grief/loss, substance use/abuse, and trauma.

I graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College with BS in Clinical Psychology in 2017 and from Mercer University with an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020. I also completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training at Ebb and Flow Yoga, Spa, & Float in 2017. I have experience working with adolescent, young adult, and adult women in the field of eating disorders, mood disorders, depression, and anxiety. I also like to incorporate my yoga teachings into my counseling where appropriate.

I am a mother, spouse, avid reader, counselor, yogi, and friend. But most importantly I am human and I understand how difficult being human can be sometimes. Therefore, I will seek to hear and understand your world and struggles you face in that world. I believe I can help by offering a compassionate ear, coping skills, and a safe place to process emotions.

If you are hurting, or just need help coping in general, please do not hesitate to reach out. I would love the opportunity to see if I am a good fit for you!
