I provide a supportive, judgement-free environment to help you Flourish. We’ll explore your challenges and goals so you can develop a greater sense of peace, satisfaction, and wellness in your life. Past clients have sought help from me to decrease feelings of anxiety or depression, address difficult situations or problems, or simply to build a happier life and increase self-confidence. My clients have said I’m caring, they feel safe, respected, and heard, they gain greater insight, and feel excited about the possibilities we explore together.
I have worked in the clinical social work field since 2014, prior to which I was a university professor, which allowed me to work with clients and students from differing socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, gender, and religious backgrounds. I have significant experience addressing trauma, anxiety and depression, women’s issues, major life transitions, and stress management. I was a first generation college student and love working with current students.
I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR, in-person only), and mindfulness-based stress reduction. I am currently working toward certification as a nutrition and integrative health practitioner, focusing on holistic approaches to improving mental health and overall well-being.

When I’m not in the office, I spend time with my husband and dogs, and enjoy reading, cooking, and travel. I look forward to meeting you. Let’s see if we’re a good fit!
