Wendy Settle, PhD, HSPP
Dr. Wendy Settle provides teletherapy for preteens, adolescents, undergraduate students, graduate students and adults in Indiana presenting with anxiety, OCD, depression, self-esteem, stress management, panic attacks, depersonalization / derealization, tic disorders, seasonal affective disorder, ADHD, and college adjustment. Her theoretical orientation integrates biopsychosocial, developmental, behavioral (such as exposure and response prevention), cultural, cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment (aka, ACT), as well as other mindfulness-based perspectives.
Dr. Settle received specialized supervision and training through the Behavior Therapy Training Institute to provide therapy for children through adults in her specialty area, obsessive compulsive disorder. With all clients, she incorporates a wide variety of adjunct self-help interventions such as biofeedback, light therapy, handouts and downloadable audios.
Dr. Settle enjoys counseling undergraduate and graduate college students - her experience includes 30 years working as a staff psychologist for the University of Notre Dame's University Counseling Center. During this time she trained and supervised doctoral psychology interns to treat anxiety and OCD. She is no longer on staff at Notre Dame and is now in private practice exclusively.
