Wake Counseling and Meditation

Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Last Updated 30+ days ago

Therapy is not only helpful for treating mental illness or the most severe traumas; it can help with every aspect of life, from every day worries to the most devastating situations.
My work for the past 10 years has involved helping children, teens, adults, and families find healing in difficult situations. This is my life's purpose, and I plan to continue this path by furthering my knowledge and providing high quality care to my clients. I have experience working with a broad range of disorders, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma, just to name a few.
I use a holistic approach in my work, where I consider not only mental factors, but also physical and spiritual factors. I combine aspects of traditional talk therapy with non-traditional approaches, including breathe therapy and meditation. I am certified in Eco-Systemic Family Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Empowering others to become leaders in their lives, no matter their life circumstances, is my goal for everyone who I am privileged to meet and work with. I welcome anyone who is in need of extra tools to help them along on their life journey. I look forward to joining you on your path to healing and accomplishing your goals.
