I work with young adults experiencing anxiety, depression or anger to re-focus on their best selves in order to thrive in the oftentimes stressful, demanding and exciting/overwhelming environment of college. Through solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, we work together to create a workable plan for coping and productivity while making connections between thoughts, feelings and actions to improve motivation and self-confidence.
When intentions, expectations and behavior patterns are misaligned, it can take a lot of effort to move forward. If current struggles become obstacles to success despite past achievements, it can be hard to get back on track alone. When deadlines loom, conflicts with others intensify and personal pressures increase, it can help to talk with someone about best practices to manage emotions, complete assignments and enhance interpersonal dynamics.
For continuity of care during academic breaks, I am able to meet with clients in MA only. Licensing restrictions prohibit telehealth across state lines.
