Psychologist, PsyD
Accepting clients Last Updated 30 days ago

I am currently taking new clients and accepting BCBS insurance.

I am a Haitian-American licensed psychologist who specializes in providing psychotherapy services to racial/ethnic minority groups, refugees, immigrant populations, and integrating your spiritual beliefs into treatment. I actively engage in research and clinical work in Black communities in the United States and abroad in Haiti. I fluently speak Haitian-Creole and also conduct sessions in this language if needed.

I create a culturally-sensitive, warm, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment, which allows you to be authentic as we engage in difficult conversations. I utilize an integrative approach to treatment, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and a systematic framework. It is a joy and honor to learn about your background and history, (e.g., racial, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds) and how it impacts your current functioning. This information sets the stage for how we will work towards your healing and growth.
