Hello, I'm Tyshawn. My approach to therapy is simple: you need someone to talk with, and I have an ear that is non-judgmental and a mouth that is kind. It's important to know that once you make the first telephone call for help, you are on your way to a journey of inner wellness. I use an eclectic and dynamic approach to therapy that is individually customized to suit your personality and desired outcomes. By combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a Solution-Focused approach, I aim to provide results that are both evidence-based and measurable.

As a Licensed Minister, I also offer Christian-based counseling for those seeking a spiritually-based approach to therapy. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, identity issues, or other challenges, I'm here to help.

I graduated from Columbia University’s School of Social Work more than 20 years ago. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working in various settings, including medical environments, community home-based programs, corporate settings, and places of religious affiliation. This diverse experience has equipped me with a broad perspective and a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health.

When you work with me, you can expect a supportive and compassionate environment where your unique needs and goals are the focus. Together, we'll navigate the challenges you're facing and work towards achieving a sense of inner peace and well-being.

If you're ready to take the first step towards a healthier, more fulfilling life, I invite you to reach out. Let's embark on this journey together.
