Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Licensed Professional Counselors
Being a student is a time of life transitions, placing foundations, all while gaining values, and skills. I have experience working with students in a wide range of life stages, who have attended Emory University, Agnes Scott College, University of Georgia, Kennesaw State University, Georgia State University, and Life University.
Student life can bring out anxiety, depression, triggers from past traumas, feelings of being lost, relationship difficulties, and discovering racial, sexual, or multicultural identity. Stepping into new phases of life can be more easily managed, understood and developed with healthy strategies, when having the support of a counselor.
I am a trained EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). EMDR therapy can guide clients to the root of unwanted behaviors, thoughts and feelings. This results in regulated emotions.
I value the role of power dynamics in relationships. Creating a space that is safe and discovering how each individual's journey is unique, is a priority to my practice.
