Some would consider this the "sweet spot" of life—you’ve finally gained some independence from your family and are able to discover what you want out of life. You’re finding your passions, your people, and yourself. So, why doesn’t it always feel so sweet?
I started my practice, Truce Therapy & Wellness, PLLC, with the mission of helping young adults exactly where you are now to feel fully heard as they bravely cope with the pressures this chapter of life brings. I consider our time together your space to be unapologetically human—to safely navigate relationships, academic/career decisions, and your innermost thoughts and feelings. My style incorporates tangible tools to help you reach your mental health goals, but, more importantly, it provides a warm and empowering relationship where you can bring your full self.
While our sessions will solely focus on YOU, know that I've been in your shoes and offer an empathic lens. As a therapist, I provide care that is strengths-based, trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-oppressive, and harm reductive. At this time, I offer telehealth sessions only, with plans to open a physical location in Chicago within the next year.
