Traci Gavila
An important part of successful therapy is feeling connected with your therapist. I'll first work with you on building that connection by listening and trying to understanding your feelings and experiences. We will also work collaboratively to understand patterns in your relationships and past experiences that help shape your current situation and behaviors. Coming to a better understanding of yourself, your feelings and behaviors is the first order of change.
I also specialize in working with children, adolescents and families. With a Master's in School Psychology, I collaborate well with school professionals to support your child more comprehensively. I also provide parenting support to address challenging behaviors at home.
I make sure the therapeutic process is collaborative. By helping you build upon strengths and understand challenges, you can start having a greater awareness of your thoughts, feelings and behaviors and incorporate healthier coping strategies and attain professional, academic, and interpersonal goals. To work on this together, contact me for a free phone consultation.
