Idaltu Counseling & Consulting
Before becoming a therapist, I was a college administrator helping students advocate for themselves, supporting faculty in building equitable learning environments, and creating spaces for collective healing. That background deeply informs how I show up in session — always attuned to power dynamics, cultural context, and the many ways systemic injustice affects mental health. If you’ve ever felt like you had to push through, carry it all, or go numb just to survive — I want you to know you don’t have to do it alone. You deserve space to feel, to breathe, and to be seen.
My therapeutic style is integrative and intentional. Sessions might include naming internalized beliefs, tuning into the body’s cues, or learning to make room for discomfort while honoring your values. We’ll work together to help you reclaim agency, reconnect with your inner knowing, and build sustainable tools for rest, boundaries, and self-compassion.
Many of my clients are caretakers, creatives, high achievers, and justice-seekers who’ve spent years making space for others. When we work together, you don’t have to code-switch, over-explain, or apologize for your feelings. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing what’s broken — it’s about returning to your wholeness.
