I am a clinical social worker who takes a Rogerian approach to therapeutic relationships. After 9 years of public health experience I have developed a broad skill set. My expertise includes trauma informed care, parenting, smoking cessation, substance use, intimate partner violence, healthy masculinity, medical adherence and perinatal mood disorders. I have years of experience working on multidisciplinary teams and speak the language of healthcare.
I utilize evidence based practices and have been trained in a variety of modalities including EMDR, motivational interviewing, tobacco treatment and cessation, eco-therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
