Tim Durham
Tim is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) and an independently licensed chemical dependency counselor (LICDC-CS). His educational background includes a Masters of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ohio State University. Tim was the Director of Counseling at Denison University, worked at the VA providing outreach mental health services, and has worked in Community Mental Health. He regularly teaches social work classes at Ohio State University.
Tim uses an integrated, relational approach with clients and incorporates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) with his work to help clients increase coping strategies, utilize their strengths to work through related issues and to maintain their wellness and make changes towards a healthier lifestyle.
