Hello, I'm Tiffany, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience working with a diverse range of clients. My passion lies in helping adults navigate their mental health journeys, and I prefer to utilize mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches. Meditation and mindfulness have been incredibly valuable tools for me in my own mental health journey, and I love sharing these amazing approaches with those I serve.
I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and self-compassion. My experience also includes extensive work in grief and trauma, and I enjoy exploring the connection between our bodies, emotions, and minds.
In my therapy practice, I prioritize creating a safe and welcoming space where my clients can feel comfortable exploring difficult experiences and learning how to better cope with challenging feelings. Whether you are dealing with anger management, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, family relationships, grief, military or veteran support, PTSD, stress, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, trauma, anxiety, or depression, I am here to support you.
During the day, I lead group therapy sessions for veterans with serious mental illnesses, which has deepened my understanding and empathy for those who have served our country. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, yoga, reading, and jumping on the trampoline with my two little boys. I've been happily married to my partner for over 21 years, and I have never met a dog that I didn't love.
If you are looking for a compassionate and experienced therapist to help you on your journey, I would be honored to work with you. Let's explore how we can work together to achieve your mental health goals.
