Tidal Therapy LLC
My approach is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client and therefore is integrative in nature. I draw from various therapeutic models and incorporate elements from my training as an RYT 500 yoga teacher as well as a certification in Shamanic healing. I believe that the practice of mindfulness is a powerful tool in gaining insight into our emotional landscape, thus helping us to identify maladaptive patterns and behaviors. While these patterns may have been effective coping strategies before, through the process of self-discovery, we learn that they no longer serve us. My style is humanistic in nature, built on the notion that we all, as humans, have an inherent power to heal ourselves. Together, we will work towards exploring emotions and discovering patterns, in an effort to increase self-esteem and foster a stronger sense of self-worth. I have experience working with adolescents and adults, either as individuals or couples, facing a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-harm, parenting challenges, relationship struggles, the inherent challenges of adolescence, and difficult life transitions to name a few. I so look forward to creating a safe space with you on your journey towards growth!
