As a psychotherapist, it is very important to me to create a safe space where you feel seen and understood. I strongly believe that a compassionate relationship is truly healing, empowering people to make changes in their lives, especially in the parts where they feel stuck. It is my aim to work with you with tools that will help you reflect on and process your thoughts and emotions. As we explore these patterns, a more authentic and meaningful life may emerge. My specializations include anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, couples counseling, grief and loss, acculturation and cultural concerns, end of life care, and trauma.
I have advanced postgraduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, and other trainings include mindfulness and somatic-based approaches and cognitive behavioral techniques. I hold a Certificate in Integrative Trauma Studies from NIP in NYC.
People of color are especially welcome to contact me. I work well with young adults and adults who are interested in depth work, and those who are interested in seeing how intergenerational and cultural trauma and ways of being impacts us in the present.
