In our first virtual online session, I focus on understanding your unique challenges and providing practical strategies tailored to your needs. My approach is direct, solution-focused, and non-judgmental, designed to empower you from the start. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). By combining these approaches, I help you develop the skills and mindset necessary to create lasting positive change and overcome obstacles.
I work with individuals, couples, and families of all ages and backgrounds, addressing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD, TBI, trauma, bullying, addiction, grief, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. In our first session, I’ll provide you with practical strategies and skills to empower you in your first appt.
As a psychotherapist, with 11 years of experience and almost 6 decades of life lessons, I have worked closely with all populations, including as a counselor in the Department of Corrections, Residential Treatment Communities, Intensive Outpatient Behavioral Health, Addictions and Trauma Recovery, and as a Military Family Life Counselor.
