Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Clinical Social Work/Therapists
- Drug & Alcohol Counselors
Research shows that the single greatest factor leading to successful outcomes in therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. Together, we’ll create a safe, compassionate, judgment-free therapeutic space for you to breathe, reflect, explore, and be heard.
EMDR:
Memories of a traumatic event may appear not as a memory but as a cluster of symptoms. EMDR is a type of psychotherapy that allows you to process these unprocessed memories so they can be effectively stored away. Research has found that EMDR is one of the most effective ways to treat trauma and relieve symptoms.
EMDR can also be applied to unpleasant associations, intrusive thoughts, OCD, and other issues.
LGBTQI+ Concerns:
For those of us in the LGBTQI+ community, it can be challenging to find comfort and safety in a world that is often negating—and even hostile—toward queer people. Psychotherapy can provide a new sense of hope for each of us. Even when the room we share is virtual, it’s a room where you can feel comfortable to explore at your own pace, cultivating a practice of self-acceptance and self-love as you move forward.
ARTISTS/WRITERS:
What if your needs are met and it’s time to pursue your dreams? We can explore the artistic/literary pursuits that might have been deprioritized because of crisis, external challenges, self-doubt, or a feeling that you didn’t deserve to do what you want. We’ll unpack the myths of “success” and “failure,” map out the steps of your artistic process, and find ways to integrate your creative self into your life.
I can partner with you to address challenges including:
• Orientation and Gender Concerns and Coming Out
• Sex and Sexuality
• Trauma and PTSD (Certified Trauma Professional)
• Alcohol/Substance Use Issues
• Obsessions and Negative Self-Talk
• Grief and Loss
• Anxiety and Stress
• Depression
• Creative Concerns (writers, artists, etc.)
• Building a Life in Recovery
I look forward to meeting you.
