The Owl's Nest Counseling, Dawn Cathey LCSW
** HUSKY IN PERSON AVAILABILITY**
I enjoy working with college students and young adults who are navigating the challenges that often come with this stage of life. College is a time of growth and possibility, but it can also bring a lot of pressure. Many students I work with feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or uncertainty about their future while trying to balance academics, work, and expectations from others.
In addition to being a therapist, I am also an adjunct college professor, so I understand the realities students face both inside and outside the classroom. I know how hard it can be to ask for help, and reaching out is often the first and most important step.
My goal is to support students’ mental health while helping them recognize their strengths and find a path through higher education that feels authentic to who they are.
