Tequirra Taylor
Are you a teen or young adult feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or past trauma? You’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate it alone either. I’m Tequirra Taylor, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in supporting individuals through life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care. In therapy with me, you’ll find a calm, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. I believe healing happens in relationship, and I focus on building strong rapport as the foundation of our work together.
In our first few sessions, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy, clarify your goals, and create a personalized plan to help you move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. My practice is also grounded in my training in EMDR, a powerful approach that helps clients process trauma by targeting its root causes, not just the symptoms.
I’m passionate about this work because I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to struggle with mental health and feel isolated in those experiences. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to offer the supportive, affirming space I wish I had. Mental health care is self-care, and you deserve to take this time for yourself. Let’s take that first step together.
