I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health in June 2021 from Northwestern University. In the four years I have been practicing as an intern and licensed counselor, I have experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, phase of life issues, trauma, communication issues, and relationship difficulties. I view therapy as a collaborative experience, with clients and their counselor working together in their therapeutic journey. I strive to offer an empathetic space for clients to navigate and process challenging experiences and emotions, facilitating the initial steps toward healing.
I facilitate healing through a diverse range of treatment methods, employing an integrative approach to optimize therapeutic benefits and fit treatment to each of my clients needs. I was trained in psychodynamic therapy, which focuses on how past experiences are influencing our current day to day lives. I am also an EMDRIA approved counselor in training and frequently utilize CBT, DBT, ACT, and strengths-based treatment modalities. I am dedicated to delivering culturally competent and gender affirming care throughout your healing journey and have experience working with people of various cultural backgrounds and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
