Are you experiencing moments of change? Is this a time in your life when that change is bringing to the foreground feelings of anxiety, depression or grief? Life can get really overwhelming at times. Those times can sometimes make us feel powerless and out of control. You do not have to struggle alone. I believe times of loss and change can bring about self-awareness and healing. And that change is an opportunity to cultivate compassion and loving kindness towards ourselves and others.
I provide a safe, empathic, and non-judgemental environment in order to encourage personal growth and healing. I will promote your personal change through mindfulness, cognitive therapy, solution-focused and psychodynamic perspectives. I will help you access your personal strengths and resources in ways that, together we find most productive.
I recognize that for some, this may mean connecting past experiences to present dilemmas. For others, the focus may entail building skills to manage life more effectively. In any case, it is our ability to engage in the present moment that helps us to create overall balance and well-being.
