I provide psychotherapy to individuals of diverse backgrounds - both adults and teens - with a focus on being attuned, caring, and respectful of each person’s uniqueness. I assist people in overcoming trauma, depression, anxiety, loss, relationship problems, as well as the challenges of creating a flourishing and purposeful life. I bring to my work an effective blend of empathy, conceptual understanding, and extensive professional training.

My approach is psychodynamic, which is rooted in understanding the deep and often unconscious patterns that shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My goal is to create a safe and empathetic space where we can explore the complexities of your inner world.
Key Principles of a Psychodynamic Approach:
1. The unconscious mind is explored to uncover hidden motivations, unresolved conflicts, and patterns that may be influencing your current experiences.
2. The focus is on enhancing self-awareness and gaining insight into thoughts and feelings. This increased awareness can pave the way for positive changes and personal growth.
3. Past relationships and experiences are explored to understand how they impact your present interpersonal dynamics. This understanding can lead to healthier connections and improved relational patterns.
What to Expect:
Collaborative Exploration: Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to explore your thoughts and feelings. Your active participation is crucial.
Non-Judgmental Environment: The counseling space is free from judgment, providing you with the comfort to share openly and honestly.
Personalized Care: I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs, ensuring that the therapeutic process is aligned with your individual goals and aspirations.
