My approach is mindfulness based, strengths based and person centered. I believe in meeting people where they are at. I truly enjoy helping people grow and adjust to life changes, cope with and reduce stress and improve their overall well-being. I am passionate about working with adult clients navigating ADHD. My approach for helping clients to better manage ADHD includes focusing on self-compassion, acceptance, mindfulness, coaching and skill building. I also enjoy supporting clients experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions and stress.
I take a holistic approach to my work and focus not just on the mind but also the body. In addition to being a LICSW, I am also a 200 hour registered yoga teacher. If desired, I can incorporate aspects of yoga into therapy including breath work, mindfulness/meditation and yoga postures that can be supportive.
