Suzanne Klenck PhD
Dr. Klenck holds specialized training in evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, exposure therapy, and mindfulness-based practices for the treatment of anxiety disorders (including trauma and stressor-related disorders, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety, and other phobias), depressive bipolar and related disorders and a wide range of other difficulties.
Dr. Klenck focuses on evidence-based treatment and evidence-based assessment practices, but finds the most important factor in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. Without a strong alliance with the client, she finds a therapist is limited in their ability to help the individual effect change.
