Sutton Steensma
I work with teens and adults. My ideal client is someone who feels ready to gently explore the layers of their life, identity, or trauma with curiosity and care. They may be navigating anxiety, grief, relationships, or the impacts of violence or marginalization, and want a space where all parts of them are welcome. Whether they’re new to therapy or have been healing for years, they come to grow through their experiences, build supportive tools, and find deeper connection, belonging, and resilience in a messy world.

I offer compassionate, trauma-informed therapy grounded in a feminist, intersectional, and client-centered approach. With extensive experience in trauma, violence, and justice work, I support youth and adults navigating DV, sexual harm, identity, relationships, and life transitions, meeting each client where they are.
Your experiences matter, and you don’t have to carry them alone. I’m honored you’re
considering therapy and the courage it takes to begin. I’d be glad to walk alongside you as you heal and move toward a life shaped by safety, abundance, and joy when you’re ready to take the next step. Please reach out and know I am here, ready to support your healing.
