I love working with college students because it's a stage of life filled with so much opportunity and challenge. At times opportunity feels exciting and fun, but at others it can be overwhelming and downright terrifying, resulting in all kinds of problems, and "symptoms". These pivotal times are ones where I can help you sort things out, figure out why troublesome feelings are getting triggered, and help you to move forward. I take an "integrative" approach with all of my clients, which means that I integrate different therapy approaches, depending on what I think would be most helpful to you. Some of these approaches include: EMDR, CBT, psychodynamic, interpersonal, and family systems. I also work with people on developing their career vision, and with leaders in organizations as an executive coach. With regard to the former who are often trying to figure out, "what do I want to do when I grow up?", I am a licensee for The Highlands Company and use the Highlands Ability Battery to help college students figure out what their next steps are to finding a career they will love.
